It was such a simple message
Your Gift, wrapped in mortality
Unreservedly and FREELY presented
For all that would hear
The heavenly call of Love and Mercy
Announcing the age of Grace,
As You handed eternal Life to us

It was such a simple message, until
It was decided that Your gift wasn’t preferable
Too simple and meaningless for an exalted world
So we took your gift and clothed it
With our own reasoning’s
And propagated it to others as love
And promoted humanism as spiritualism

We put an expensive price tag on it
Separated it out, categorized it and sold it
Arbitrated our own interpretations, and so
Created multiple doctrines that would enable
Each man to worship and condone his own beliefs
Thereby empowering the success of a spiritless shrine
And in doing so, we became hackers of Your Word

Today, tolerance is expected, to accept every man’s belief
As political correctness to redeem society’s designated right
To worship anything, designed to deliberately
Pauperize the divine purpose of salvation,
So that to declare and defend the authentic scripture
Makes one ostracized and labeled as a defector!
And yet, the adulteration of Your Word is the true sin

We are the children of troubled and perilous times
And are covered by our own treacherous blood
From choices we have made by turning our faces
From Your Truth and by embracing an inferior message
One that promotes ease and eliminates condemnation
And spiritual consequences as we forge ahead
Flaunting our achievements with pride, our backs to You

My heart grieves for Your sorrows O God
That You loved our world so much you gave Your Son
That all could choose eternal life
By believing in the simple message
Then to be so utterly rejected…again ! ! !
How much grief and anger can you suppress
Before You stand and say, enough is enough?

About just stevie

First and foremost...I am not a writer! That is very evident if you start from the beginning. These blogs are the result of an intense relationship with my heavenly Father and I wanted to put my thoughts into writing. Words and music are very powerful...together...each having it's own interpretation! This encourages me that every day be different, with new thoughts and directions. Even now, that surprises me when I go back and re-read an experience I've gone thru. I think I can say, that my writing has improved with time...enjoy...
